After all of the museums, churches and art galleries in Italy and Paris, Nice was a welcome break for us. It is really hot and ideal weather to explore to beach of Nice on the French Riveria, I could really get use to living here. Also if you look far enough into the hills surrounding Nice you can see Elton John's very pink house. ON our way to Florence, we stopped off at Pisa and yes we took the tacky photo of us holding the leaning tower of pisa up and yes it actually was leaning quite alot. After driving through the beautiful Tuscan countryside we arrive in Florence, which seems much more relaxed than Rome andf Venice. We have just been to visit the Pope in the worlds smallest country (the Vatican City) which has the worlds largest Church (St Peter's Bascillica). In the Vatican City we went to the Vatican Museum, which has some absolutely amazing piece of art and is home to the Sistine Chapel, in which the walls, ceiling and fall are painted my Michaelangelo and includes the Last Testament painting. We have now arrive in Italy, well to be more specific Venice. After having endured the worst thunderstorm ever, which lasted the entire nite, and having stayed in a room that resembled a wooden box, we were of course more than ready to explore Venice. Well hello from the Swiss Alps. Yes the place really does look just like the photograph, in fact this is the view that we get every day from our campsite.
