Denise Hi Sarah & Martin, Your pictures are brillant. Really enjoyed looking at them. The hotel we stayed at in Bangkok is called New Siam 2. Its about 5 mins walk from koh San Road. It went up in price just as we were leaving, so i think its about 700baht a night thats for a double room with ac. The hotel also has a pool and is nice and clean. if thats a bit pricey, there are lots of hotels in that area. Here is the weblink for the hotel http://www.newsiam.net/. Just book via email. We went to a lovely island, its about 5 hours by bus from Bangkok. We really liked it there. Its called Koh Samet. Any hotel you stay in will organise the bus for you. But its definitely worth a visit. I think the bus costs about 300 baht. When your heading down south, take the overnight train. We got second class and was really comfey, i.e. they make up beds for you and there is a restaurant/bar there and you are also saving on a nights accommodation.
