Martin & Sarah's Big Adventure
ON our way to Florence, we stopped off at Pisa and yes we took the tacky photo of us holding the leaning tower of pisa up and yes it actually was leaning quite alot.
After driving through the beautiful Tuscan countryside we arrive in Florence, which seems much more relaxed than Rome andf Venice. In the town which has beautiful winding cobbled streets, and boosts the famous statue of David (girls, I tell you he's actually not that well endowelled!)
Florence is also famous for its ice cream, of which we both had a taste of, it was delicous!
We also walked on the Ponte Vecchio bridge which is one of the few bridges in the world to have shops on it.
We then watched the sunset over the city from a beautiful garden high above the city, it was very romantic and the best way to see florence.
Tomorrow we are off to Nice in France, so no more pizza's and pasta for us.
