We have now started our year long honeymoon, and where best to start it than in the romantic city of Paris. Our first night was spent watching the sun go down from the steps of the Sacre Couer, eating bread and drinking wine (how very french!). This point is the heighest in Paris and gives beautiful views over the city. The next day was spent doing a marthaon tour of the major city sights - the pompadou centre (has some very strange pieces of art work, including a room covered in rubbish - apparantly a piece of art work), Notre Dame (could not find the hunchback though!), the Lourve (to see Mona Lisa), the Champs Elysee (lots and lots of very expensive designer shops) and finshing at the Eiffel Tower. (Knackering as it was it was we saw some great things and hope to see more on our return at the end of the trip). Anyway now of to Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland.
