We got up early this morning, and after a rushed breakfast we headed off in a minibus on a 'Death Railway' tour. Our first stop on the tour was to a waterfall up in the hills. Today we headed west to Kanchanaburi - Luckily our guest house in Ayutthaya was a short walk from the bus station, so after a lazy morning we got a shiny, happy disco bus! Up at silly-o'clock this morning to catch our train to Ayutthaya at 6.55am. We spent all day on the train a very hot, sweaty and sticky journey, the scenery was very beautiful though. At about 8pm we finally arrived and jumped in a taxi to a guesthouse we had chosen from the book. We checked in and went over the road to a restaurant (we were all pretty hungry by this time!), and then onto the Moon Cafe for a drink.

Nice lazy day today. After breakfast we headed to the station to buy our train tickets for tomorrow, went to the internet cafe on the way back. After lunch the boys headed off to play pool, while us girls went and had a gorgeous thai head, back and shoulder massage!
