Well the London bridge is not falling down but our tour group is...
When we arrived in London, we immediately got off the train and walked out to a view of Big Ben. The city was beautiful! It was the perfect mix of the old and new with architecture dating back to World War 2. The streets were full of people from all over and for the most part they were friendly.
On our second day we took a hop on hop off bus tour through the city. We saw the local hangouts, the homes of the elite and the museums. The best part had to be riding on top of the double decker bus in the pouring rain.
That night we went on a Jack the Ripper tour! We walked the streets of old London and visited some of the spots where his victims were found. It was cold, it was dark, it was rainy, it was eerie! The tour guide was entertaining and didn't hesitate to share the gruesome details of the murders. It was definitely unsettling that they never found him...
