Arrived in Bagan. They lobbed a mattress on the floor and the double became a triple. I had a massive sleep. I awoke and found a cockroach on the floor. Nice little mate to keep me company down there. Also spotted this American guy who stopped in Manadaly with us. Founder cheaper guesthouse on the night.

Rented bicycles for a dollar. Moved guesthouse. Had a headache and it was so hot. 43 degrees. Me and Jonas went to the temples and Jonnas kicked back again as he was still feeling ill. We cycled around and it was really nice, Bagan has over 3000 temples, all nestled in dusty dry land. They are everywhere!!!! We went to all the big ones and got some mint photos. One of them the steps were almost vertical to climb, but it gave an amazing vantage point over the landscape. Photography lover was in his element. Shock our tickets didn't get checked too! Raging.

Got free breakfast in the hotel which was a nice change and checked out. Waited all day. Said bye to the lads. Really good guys, I'll meet back up with them in BKK though. The bus was really nice. It's the only advanced thing in Burma! Felt so ill on the bus though and nearly whitied after scoffing loads of greasy crisps. Just managed to hold it down.
