What a fantastic day 5.45 am up and ready Leisl up first followed by me Libby and then Jessie and eventually Hermione, Tony was complaining of a bad neck and said they would catch a later foot ferry this never happened. We left the house drove the 45 mins to catch the 7am ferry once aboard and parked we went upstairs to get a coffee the weather was warm but wet it had rained in the night and was still raining not heavy but plesant. The ferry ride was 40 Mins once there we drove of and went a parked at a bay. Leisl & Libby had a horse ride booked for 3pm had to be there about 2.30 then i would take the car and the Two children to the beach.

We started with a walk out on a pier than we found some where to have breakfast full English, eggs benedict and the healthy choice. After breakfast we went for a little drive stopping to pick some grass and then onto feed the Rock Wallabies this was great fun some even had joeys we all loved this, I done a little rock climbing and spotted some fish this was while they was all making good friends with the Rock wallabies sweet little creatures but very alert so you had to be quiet and could not move around to fast or they was off bouncing from rock to rock quite remarkable.

The next few hours was spent walking to the the Forts and spotting wild Koals this was awsome not sure the children thought so after an hour and half it was really hot by now. We spotted a total of Six Koalas including mum and baby. The walk was up hill spectacular views look at the pictures an awsome place. The guns where never used in anger as the war was over shortyl after they was finished, on route we see what was left of the toilets, officers Toilets Kitchens all at seperate locations on the way up, in the armoury we found bats at some really large moths the noise was defening near the top with all the creatures and insects my wife tried to catch this on video.

We hydrated on our return and it was time for the woman to go horse riding we dropped them of and headed for the each to swim in the stinger net for a couple of hours great fun and definately needed. Proceeded to get drinks go pick the girls up this was gone Five the ferry was booked for 6.55 after collectng the girls we went for a well deserved dinner, pizza, calamari, chips, salad and steak very nice indeed. I drove us back to the ferry and once back on mainland we picked the guys pizza up on he way home it was almost Nine when we arrived a really full and fun day, finished with a beer or Two while chillaxing.
