After a really busy Christmas day the kids slept soundly and late not seeing the Two girls until 10.30 gone. The Two woman popped out to do shopping and I sat looking out over the creek writing the blog.

When evryone was ready we drove into Townsville to the Strand, a little restaurant that overlooks a rock pool and the Sea, we ordered luch the children had fish & chips or calamari and chips, Tony a large steak Twice first time was over cooked, Leisl, Libby and myself oredered a sharer 3 tier meal on the bottom was 3 peices of fish loads of chips and calamari, second tier had bugs, shrimps, scolops & muscles and the top tier had salad, shrimps, lemon and muscles very nice meal indeed.

Two out of the three children swam in the rock pool overlooking the sea and after that we left to return to Saunders beach to collect the crab pots and crabs and show my wife the beach and everything as she missed it last time. Unfortunatly footprints in the sand told us someone had beaten us to it no crabs just footprints and bucket prints. Quick drive home to chill out for the rest of the evening and plan the next few days. Libby & Hermione both died their hair.
