TUDORS, TRICKY TURNSTILES AND PINGY PRAWNS!! So our intention of staying in Barra for just one week was just a foolish whim!. Clowning??!!! Lesser spotted, world record holding, Brazilian wandering 'bin' spider with an attitude ....eeeek!! Just been on Canasvieiras beach at the northern end of the island, beautiful...on the way back bumped into a clown, a proper one, all painted face , red nose, hula hoop trousers , pingy braces, big boots and a very large red bow tie. He says he knows us from Saturdays shinanigans??? (at least I think that's what he was saying !) ....what exactly h...

ROCKIN THE BEACH!! Had a fantastic evening...boogie'd till the wee small hours to a fab rock band then continued down on the beach. Playing guitars and singing until 6am with our new friends James, Santiago, Danny and Alex and some others whose names are all Braziliany and I can't pronounce!!....feeling VERY fragile this morning and my hair stinks of bonfire.......think Id better just chill out today!! ... hee hee..

Rock Hopping!....or rock sliding....ouch!! Today we went rock hopping. We tried to follow the rocks around the headland onto the main beach. Brilliant fun, felt like a child in Eastbourne all over again... We made it as far as the lagoon but couldn't continue as no more rocks!.. Percy Penguin was swimming about really near us and there were puffa fish darting in and out of the rocks. Crystal clear, beautiful. On the way back we decided to try and climb ove...
