Lesser spotted, world record holding, Brazilian wandering 'bin' spider with an attitude ....eeeek!!

Just been on Canasvieiras beach at the northern end of the island, beautiful...on the way back bumped into a clown, a proper one, all painted face , red nose, hula hoop trousers , pingy braces, big boots and a very large red bow tie. He says he knows us from Saturdays shinanigans??? (at least I think that's what he was saying !) ....what exactly happened on Saturday night?????...all very weird?
