It was a very Merry Christmas for the 5 of us down in the island of Koh Lanta! We travelled on a long hot bus from Chiang Rai to the heart of Thailand, Sukhothai, which was the country's first capital from 1200-1400s. We took a 3 hour bus ride for a 3 day stay in Chiang Rai, primarily to see "The White Temple" (Wat Rong Khun), which you can see featured in the Thailand photo album.
