WOW. We have come to the end of the road with the blog and I can't believe that this will be our last post. We have been pretty crap with posts since we arrived in Florida and then Texas. So here is a re-cap on what we have done since leaving L.A in August.

Well we moved in with Stirling, who kindly gave up his home for us and he slept in a caravan in the garden, plus he let us drive his car the whole time. We are so grateful to him and are in debt for many beers as a result! Thank you Stirling for your kindness and putting up with us for so long.

We spent our days in Floida job searching and trying to decide where to live and generally what to do with the next stage of our lives. Oh and going to the beach everyday of course! Be rude not to really.

Brett landed a job interview in Austin and we thought, let's give it a try. So, in true Brett and Stace fashion we jumped on a plane and headed here with nowhere to live and no confirmation of a job. We were offered a roof over our heads by Richard and Michael as part of the couch surfing website. They were so welcoming and lovely and have shown us some fantastic things here in Austin. Brett nailed it of course and got the job.

Christmas was fast approaching by this time and we managed to nip back to Florida to spend the holidays with my parents. Plus we got to see Lec, Paddy and the girls for a short but amazing time!

I still wasn't having much luck on the job front so decided the only cure was a trip to Disney world. So off to Floida I flew, again. I had a fantastic and magical time with mum, Dad, Lec, Paddy, Ami and Izzy at the Magic Kingdom and there was only a slight melt down when we spied Alan from Grimsby.

I miss you all so much.

Now here we are. Austin is home and we are loving it. I start my new job on Monday and I guess normal life will resume. So this is us, signing off and saying goodbye to the blog. What adventures we have had over the last year! Looking back on our photos and blog posts makes me realise how lucky we are to have had this opportunity and how we will cherish these memories forever.

Thank you to everyone at home for their love and support while we have been away. And to all our new friends that we have met while we have been travelling, it has been a blast meeting you all and sharing these fantastic, life changing experiences. Keep in touch!
