Ahhh I'm old! Ems (with help from mum) ensured we had an awesome birthday breakfast (blueberry waffle - yum) complete with banner, cards, presies and little 30 confetti, which got everywhere and left a nice imprint on my thigh! Awoke nice an early to climb up to the viewpoint before it got too hot. Great view though a little cloudy. Despite it being only a short walk it was very sticky and we felt we deserved a little nap when we got back! Mostly mooched around for the rest of the day. Enjoyed a lovely dinner at a Swedish restaurant and then met a couple of friends from my Vietnam trip for dessert (ice cream sundaes :) which was fab to see them and hear about their subsequent trip to C...

Our last day chilling in the bliss of long beach. I too found frogs in my shoes - Ems got the last laugh. Had another aloe vera massage; Ems coconut oil. And some more cocktails :) We set off for Tonsai this afternoon, though had to climb over the headland to the next bay as it was too rough for the longtails on long beach. I saw a monkey on route though poor Ems missed it as was behind me and my big turtle pack. Wow what a difference a few hundred metres makes...

Found a frog in Ems' shoe this morning! Took a nice walk along the beach after a yummy breakfast. Ems' bikini pinged off without warning. All in all a funny day :)

Life's a beach! We are now sat on gorgeous Long beach on the island of Kho Phi Phi. We checked into our lovely bungalow this morning after having cruised over from Phuket. Spent the rest of the day hokey-kokey'ing between the sand and the sea. This is a beach of beautiful people - think mostly south american; almost made me think twice before that magnum...I said almost. Yesterday was awesome too.
