Gittoes gave Finn, Slug and I a lift down to Sorrento to Mike's house for a New Years party! We played a little bit of cricket when we first got there but then a group of us went down to chicken rock, which is a 8m high rock protruding out of the sea like a stack (just like one of the 12 apostles). Karl has been jumping off this rock every year for the past 11 years so we knew it was safe to do it. He told us where abouts to jump and how far to push yourself off!...

Kate and I travelled up to Byron Bay again to meet up with Phelpsy and Finn for a few days after they had been on their surfing week. The first day was spent swimming in the sea and lounging on the beach along with the great kebabs from bay kebabs! On the second day we went to the beach again but as the sea was breaking onto the beach there were hundreds and hundreds of jellyfish! Hi! Just to update you on what's been going on in Byron Bay... left melbourne tullamarine at about 5.30a.m on friday and arrived here at about 8 in the morning and got a taxi to Byron Bay from the Gold Coast airport. Just hit the beach pretty much straight away and went swimming in the slightly cold water...got used to it eventually... lots of surfers and big waves to dive under! Been a few shark sightings in the area and apparently it is very close to the breedi...

went into melbourne at 7a.m. this morning...walked from Richmond station along the yarra river past all the stadiums into the centre of town, which was a nice little walk. Have booked tickets to fly to Brisbane at 6.10a.m. Friday morning (tomorrow) and am staying up there until Tuesday and then flying back. Have been on the hunt for flats or houses and have called up a few places but there has been no luck so far and doesn't look like there will be any for a whil...

Arrived on time on Monday evening and was met by Finn, Scrine and Dane.Took about half an hour finding the car, airport car park was too big and they couldn't remember what level they were parked on or whereabouts! Got back to the guy's flat, an utter tip, and had a shower and went out to get a cab into town. Spent 40 minutes in the cab in what should have been a 5 minute journey because the cab driver didn't have a clue where he was going! but got there eventual...
