Got up at 6, Jayne decided we would go for a walk and get breakfast before it got warm so off we went without brushing our teeth or having a wash, why would we, we were only going out for an hour.......8hrs later we arrived back at the hotel having walked 4 miles to old town Vegas. On the long hot walk we passed the Stratosphere, all 1000ft of it, we called in and Ricks Pawn shop from off the telly but they weren`t in.

We passed many wedding chapels and walked through some of the less selubrious parts of town before reaching the imfamous Las Vegas sign where we stopped for pictures, incidently it is in the middle of the road, dodgy.

We visited Circus Circus, The Golden Nugget and of course Binions.....Down Town Vegas is quite special, it is inviting and friendly and wants you to have fun instead of just wanting your money. Denny's for breakfast, Ribs for lunch and huge prawns for a snack with a milkshake and a beer. Decided we better learn how to play Craps and Blackjack Vegas style and perhaps we will hit El Cortez or Binions on Tuesday......
Tomorrow we are on the Grand Canyon trip taking in the Hover dam and having dinner with the Indians in the desert.
