Our last day in Vegas and we intend to make the most of it... Denny`s for a heart breakfast (T-Bone steak, eggs and hash) then we went exploring around the Wynn and other casinos before having lunch at the Excelsior. Bit of exploring the casinos looking for a poker room I can afford, found tourneys in Excalibur and Luxor...decided to play in the Excalibur its a $45 buy in with a $45 rebuy if you bail out, got a fifth no payout.....but heard about a game in the Monte Carlo its a $40 buy in and a further $20 add on after round 4....got a fourth still no payout. There are two main routes to Yosemite, the longer safer southern route or the shorter route through DeathValley and over the Tioga pass which had only just opened on May 2nd, this was the route I had chosen.......but at the last minute I changed my decision and went the long route. Leaving vegas the sat nav informs me my next turn is 253 miles.... Turn 2 comes after a further 125 miles and my final turn a merely another 108 miles.......driving in the US is awesom...

The morning was spent cruising the strip, breakfast at Denny`s and then we headed down to the Fashion Show Mall to find out my glasses arent ready.....bummer Picked the car up today, it's a nice Rav4 auto, dropped it off at the hotel (free parking) then headed downtown for the night, the bus costs $8 for a day pass. Downtown is buzzing, live bands, street entertainers and lots of wierd people (in a good way) We ate at Binions, I had a Binions Chilli Dog OMG OMG...
