Ok this will probably be a long one....we got up at 7 and went for breakfast in the Best Western restaurant (very nice) before heading out to Yosemite for the day, no real plans just see where the road takes us.
First we headed for Yosemite Valley to see El Capitan and the half dome.....words can not describe the views that met us.
While Vegas was wow, Yosemite was WOW WOW WOW.
In the valley it was 85deg, very hot. We had lunch sat on a log under the trees watching the squirrels playing.
After lunch we decided to head out over the Tioga pass which was only opened on Friday by the snow ploughs.
8000ft up, the air is noticeably thinner, the temp noticeably lower and the sights noticeably more awesome.
Once over the awesome Tioga pass we headed back to Yosemite valley and on to Glacier Point....I can't describe it you will have to check out the pics, words would just fall short.
Subway for supper and then prepare for tomorrow's drive to San Fransisco.
P.s picked up a hiker dude called Bret who had been out hiking since Christmas.
