Today we visited ALCATRAZ and it was a fantastic trip. A short ferry ride of 15 mins and we disembarked onto The Rock. We took the full audio tour which just made the experience even better, we got to explore the cells and solitary and the canteen and the showers etc etc. the island is beautiful with lots of nesting cormorants and gulls.
Got tickets for the Big B tour bus which is the hop on hop off see all the sights bus.
Fisherman's wharf looks fun we will be heading down there for some crab later on and perhaps a night visit to the Golden Gate Bridge.
We had the most wonderful meal down by the sea, scallops, muscles, shrimp, clams, squid, razor fish and whole baby octopus we were in seafood heaven.
