Teva's Travels
So, what's new, I hear you ask? Well at least my family asks, so for you, here's the news.
After our little fishing expedition, life seems a little sedate. Kris and I have moved into our lovely new home-by moved I mean carried our bags through the door and are making use of the kitchen.
We have both settled into fine work routines, although are still adjusting to the very low wages, supplemented with all the past it veg and out of date organics I can fit into my bag. On the plus side, I am enjoying a mostly organic diet and feeling very high and mighty about doing so. Kris is still working with C. Dave, keeps him out of trouble.
Our new home is large, although our rooms are small. After spending the last couple of weeks on two pieces of foam I finally acquired a queen size mattress yesterday, but unfortunately it leaves no room for anything else-pictures on the way.
Barney is still up north, and a road trip is planned in the not to distant future to checkout his new pad and hopefully surf/snowboard or at least catch some football. Seems like even during the world cup the locals still prefer rugby and I am having problems catching the games. Seems strange to have him so near, and yet so far, but I know he needs to be with the waves, and I with the city. Still, in his own words, we three are like a stool (as in chair not sample) and Kris and I could use his additional support to stop our crap two legged seat from falling over. The press up competions have well and trully gone out the window.
Anyway, no complaints. The break from the road is serving me well, allowing me to remember some of my experiences along the way and get to know another city. I still plan to leave for more exotic travels, although I have meet a lot of other people who also planned to keep moving but never quite got round to it. Time will tell......
