At the moment the weather is really warm in the days but very cold at night. so we are spending our time driving around and looking at the local sights which we will be able to recommend to people to visit when they come and stay.

we have seen some amazing places and ken will be updating the photos soon.

The days just fly past there always seems some where to go or something to see. We have just got our christmas tree it is a real one about 10ft tall and it is outside our little chalet when we were decorating it we looked around and we had an audience i think the locals think us English are mad. Still i was really pleased with it it looks really pretty.

In the city there have a christmas market selling all kinds of tatt it is great fun looking round the stalls.

We are getting the builders to give us an estimate on the price to start the house so hopefully that will be starting soon.

The old couple we brought the house from have left us some authentic bulgarian furniture which we are planning to keep and some lovely rugs and tapestries.

In the village you dont need a driving licence to drive so ken is going to buy me a cheap lada or skoda you need this kind of vehicle as the roads are quite bumpy so i can try and learn to drive the only thing i will have to look out for is the donkey and carts as there is more of them than cars.

In the village square they have a strange little zoo for anyone who has watched league of gentlemen it is quite similar to that one. Here there is a Camel! Ostrich reindeer couple of little pigs they are very proud of the zoo but i worry about the poor animals in it.

We go into the city on quite a frequent basis and it is really lovely the resturants and bars are great and you can have a meal with drinks for around £6.00 we cant believe how cheap everything is.

It is Kens birthday on Saturday and also two other people in the village so we are going to have a big party saturday night and there isnt any special time the bar shuts she will serve all night if you want so i am sure will have massive bulgarian hangovers on Sunday.
