We set off on a dark morning on Sunday November 21st at 3.00am and drove to the docks at dover with the transit loaded up with all our possesions and the two dogs Bailey and Ginger off to our new life and adventure. somehow it just didnt seem real to be to think i was leaving folkestone and all my family and friends it just wasnt sinking in.

The ferry across to Calai was fine and all thanks to Lynne and Barry for sorting out our tickets cheers mates hope you are reading this.

We got off the ferry and starting driving across France the roads were clear as it was a Sunday. It took Ken a while to get used to driving on the other side of the road.

The weather was bright so we put the music on and off we went no stop apart from watering the dogs till we got to Munich.
