Well we're back in Beijing, we could become tour guides feel like we know this city very well now. this is our 3rd stay here and we feel right at home. Our trip to Lhasa was interesting... 1st class train travel in china means you get a cabin with 4 berths but cos there are only 2 of us you have to share!!!!! which we didnt quite realise silly dillys.... guess who nearly ended up sharing with 3 smelly chinese spitting and clearing their throats every 5 minutes? yep me..... they were horrid luckily we found 3 young people from finland who were happy to let me share with them. maggie had to share with a very nice chinese family luckily on our way back we were with 2 young americans so that was a lot of fun. now we have treated ourselves to a very nice hotel for our last 3 days in china its great, swimming pool jacuzzi, sauna massage yummy could get used to this... we are back on the trans-sib on wednesday so there'll be no pics or blogs till we arrive in moscow. where hopefully the belarus embassy will give us a visa to go through their country (lovely place that it is!!!) so we can get to Vienna and CIVILISATION! I am going to drag maggie to some classical music evenings...oh i cant wait....
