Bratislava last night, we stayed in a comunist prison . . .not really but it looked just like one, bars on the windows, empty bottles of vodka on the roof, holes in the walls etc etc no bugs though so that was a bonus!
We looked round the castle and the old town, making the most of the free walking tour thismorning. apparently the favourite local dish is dumpling filled with sheep cheese wrapped in bacon. i did'nt even know you could get sheep cheese!

My favourate local delicacy was KFC! Chris is dispairing . . .

We bought some very small sew on badges to represent how little a time we spent there! we went geocaching this morning and managed to grab a cache while 30 people took photos of me, no pressure!

We got on the hydrofoil to Vienna at about 2:30 only to be told they had closed the river! we spent 15 mins on the boat before being put on a sweatty coach. . . yuck. so much for a breezy river cruise.

Vienna is bloody expensive, i reccomend you re-mortgage beffore making a trip here. Our budget will stretch to a beer and a small cake per day! so chris is having the beer and i'm having the cake!
tommorow we are going to try to get cheap ticets for the opera, apparently you can stand at the back for 3 pounds. Better than the 43 pounds it would cost to sit!

ok got to go now as chris has almost finnished his beer. Now where did i put that cake . . ?
