One month left to go and four countries left to visit! Today was quite a stressful morning. Our bus to Bolivia was due to leave at 7:30am and the lady we booked our bus ticket with was meant to collect us at 7am from our hostel. At 7:20am and no sign of the lady we were beginning to think we would miss the bus. A minute or so later she turned up and after a quick taxi ride and running through the bus terminal to check in and pay tax, we very luckily made it. We got to the border crossing at Copacabana and had to officially leave Peru. After standing in a long queue to get our exit stamp the man at the counter told us we had to get a stamp from the police next door first- it would have been handy to have been told this before the queue! So we had to queue again from the back but luckily it went quicker the second time round. We had lunch in Copacabana right next to Lake Titicaca and then got on a different bus to take us to La Paz. We arrived at Wild Rover hostel and met our friends Anthony and Sebastian who we had met on our Lake Titicaca tour. We booked our tour to do the death road and then got ready for a night out. After a couple of hours and few drinks at the hostel bar put on tab using our wristbands (dangerous method of payment) we asked the barmen where to go out. As it was a Wednesday the main club open was only a samba club but it was great fun and we ended up dancing into the early hours of the morning.
