We were feeling rather delicate this morning as we found out the hostel cocktails are lethal! But we were determined to make it to the swedish embassy lunch we had been invited to so we got showered, made ourselves look pretty in our dresses and set off with Rob. The lunch included all you can drink wine but after one glass each Eddy and I had to switch to coca cola. We still had to drink the obligatory schnapps however. A sip or shot had to be drank every time the group sang a song. We were given a sheet of swedish songs at the start of the lunch and did our best to sing along to them which was good fun. The food was really nice, smoked salmon, risotto, bacon and strawberries and cream for dessert. Disappointingly our Australian friend Locki who was supposed to be telling a joke at the lunch didn't turn up.
After a few hours we left and had a starbucks before chilling in the room for a while. Later on we went out across the road for dinner and relaxed again until around 9pm when we decided it was time to start drinking again. We played a few games of pool, had a few cocktails at the hostel bar and then went out to a club called L'arc for a dance.
