Day 6 Broken Hill, NSW - Orroroo, SA (347kms – 6hrs)
After a late night we had a slow start to the day and enjoyed our campsite till 10am. We then hit the road towards Port Augusta. We stopped for fuel and lunch and then arrived in Peterborough. Peterborough is known for it's steam trains. So we had a look at the steam train replica museum and the kids had a play in the park. Next stop we drove through some beautiful fields to get to Magnetic Hill which is located between Peterborough and Orroroo near Black Rock. When you get to the location you have to see if your vehicle rolls up or down the hill. For us it rolled down hill. We then continued driving through the beautiful fields and arrived at Orroroo Carvan Park at 4pm. It was a quick set-up then we did 3 loads of washing while the kids played with some new friends they met. We had rissoles and fried rice for dinner then showers and bed.
