152 kms / 2 ½ hrs
After a cold morning and having to find our jeans and jumpers which were at the bottom of our bags we left Lake Liddel around 8:00am for the short drive to Soldiers Point.
We arrived at Big 4 Soldiers Point Holiday Park around 10:30am and were greeted by my lovely cousins Peter & Johanna (I haven't seen them in ages so it was lovely to see them both again). We checked in and set-up then went for a drive to Salamander Bay shopping centre.
Rog hasn't had a hair cut since we left home so he was in desperate need for one. So we enjoyed sushi for lunch then Rog got his hair cut and I was hoping to look in a few of the shops but the kids just wanted to get back to the caravan park.
The caravan park is amazing and you can see why they recently won the top award for the best holiday park in NSW. The kids have had the best afternoon. There are so many activities to keep them entertained including: indoor play equipment, outdoor play equipment, springfree trampolines, games room with playstation games, bike track, indoor pool with kids splash park (and outdoor pool which we didn't use today). I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a family holiday with young kids as they will be entertained for hours! Our kids just kept going between all the activities non-stop!
We finally dragged them back to the caravan around 6pm where we had pies for dinner and the kids fell straight asleep (which they haven't done for ages!).

Dana Say hi to Pete and Jo for me. I'm glad your kids got to stay at the best holiday park in NSW isn't it unreal? I would have loved to see Rog with his wooly hair! Can't wait to see you all soon. xD
