We woke up around 6am to a 0 degree morning and fog everywhere. We had a cuppa then left Jugiong. We made a couple of wrong turns today but luckily Roger could get us back on track. We stopped at around 8:30am for brekkie in a rest area. We fuelled at Wagga and then stopped in Hay for fuel and lunch at a park. We arrived at Lake Benanee (Euston) at 4pm and quickly got the BBQ set-up so we enjoyed sausages with vegetables and we ate it outside overlooking the lake. The sun didn't go down till around 6pm so it gave us plenty of time to enjoy the place. Whilst we were setting up and getting organised Josh decided to go exploring like Bear Gryllis and ended up falling in the lake as he was walking on a sleeping crocodile and slipped.
Today in the car Josh was asking about wishes and if mine came true and I said sometimes. He said his didn't and I asked what he wished for and he said nudie rudie girls.
The kids loved the cotton on the side of the road whilst driving through the Hay Plains. Josh asked Roger to stop to get him some which he did. The cotton has already been picked and is being transported on big trucks which is what we have seen today.
We saw cows, sheep, emus, birds, rabbits
