396 kms / 6 ¼ hrs
We had a lazy morning and then took the kids to the local rocket park in Moree. It was so much fun and you have to climb up 3 vertical ladders to get to the top and then you come down an enclosed slide (which parts of the slide have a drop section). We all had so much fun and the kids just kept climbing back up and coming back down. There were other great slides and play equipment but the kids loved the rocket.
We had to drag the kids away so we could buy some groceries and refuel before leaving Moree around 11am. The rest of the day was spent driving and was pretty uneventful driving past lots of cotton fields, canola fields (which were so beautiful and yellow), cattle farms and stud farms.
We arrived at Lake Liddel around 5:15pm which was later than we had wanted to arrive as we were hoping to take the kids fishing but instead they enjoyed looking at all the wetland birds and big geese.
I cooked a butterflied lamb while Rog and the kids sat by the campfire next door and patted a very excited dog!
