Day 2 Gilgandra
After a relaxing start to the day Rog & Don headed into town while June took the kids and I to a relative's to watch sheep shearing. It was so much fun watching the shearing and them sorting the wool. Then it was time for us to help by catching all the lambs and putting them in a separate pen. They were so cute, I could have cuddled them all day!
June then drove us around some of their property and we looked at some of the crop (inc; wheat, lupin, barley, canola, chickpeas).
We played lot's of games of Rummy-O and then Rog, Josh & I went for a drive in the Gator. It was freezing but fun. We went to the log house and then walked in the dry creek bed. Then Josh's highlight was getting to drive the Gator by himself.
Then Nana and Aunty Charms arrived and we headed to Tooraweenah Pub for dinner. Ashley is doing a great job running the pub and it was lovely to have dinner with Don & June, Gary & Karen, Nana & Charm.
