well we are flying to jakarta tomorrow at 10am. so we are back here in Kuala Lumpur for the night.

we just returned from an amazing 3 days in Pulau Redang. Its a tiny island off the east coast of Malaysia. so we took a 7 hour overnight bus ride to Kuala Terrenganu. slept at the bus station for an hour and a half, then were picked up by the hotel people, slept in their office for 2 more hours, then caught a ferry to the island.

After all the sleeping in random places, we finally arrived at the most beautiful place we've seen in long time and quite possibly ever. This place is unreal. The water was so clear, like a swimming pool and so refreshing. There was so many fish and so much coral just out in front of the resort (well its called a resort). we threw our stuff in our room and went straight out to the water. then we had an afternoon snorkel at a another island just a short boat ride away. John was nearly attacked by 2 huge trigger fish. it was actually pretty scary, these fish were huge and not happy we were around while they were eating.

The next day we had 2 dives and it was beautiful. So many fish and so much coral. It was really amazing. then we just relaxed on the beach, volleyball, etc...

our favorite place so far. so now back on the mainland but we are off tomorrow!!
