we are now in Siem Reap. we stayed in Phnom Penh for a while and it was really nice. our guesthouse was right on the lake(sort of a lake). we spent one day touring the Genocide sights. it was rough. we went to S-21 which was a prison and then to the killing fields. it was terrible, but it was also very enlightening on the horrible civil problems Cambodia has had. It really is a lovely country and the people are so great. the kids here are probably the cutest kids...

we are here now in Phnom Penh. we had a pretty easy day with boarder crossings. the bus ride was a bit long, but it was nice to ride through the country side for a bit. we left HCMC at around 8 am and arrived here at about 5pm. we are staying at a nice guesthouse on the lake, and had a good first night. a few beers and some reaaly nice curry, also met some people who knew friends of ours queenstown (small world)!!!! well i think it may be off to some pretty ter...
