Hi everyone,

We have arrived back safely from the Inca trail but first we will update you on our few days in Cusco before we went.

Cusco is a great city though we havent really done that much since we arrived just taking it easy before having to walk for 4 days. Wandered around the town which is all set around a main plaza, Shock! and have ate and drank lots. The nightlife here is fantastic everywhere you go you get a free drink when you enter, so you just leave go somewhere else and then go back again, its fab you dont spend any money. Last night we were out with people from our Inca trail trip, great night from what we remember but are suffering today and have to get on a bus tonight!!

We did manage to get off our backsides one day and go for a tour around the Sacred Valley, eventually anyway as the tour bus forgot to pick us up so the company arranged for a taxi to catch it up. The first stop of the day was at a small town called Pisac, it had a great market and we bought loads of souvenoirs. There was also some Inca ruins there of what they think was a religious area. From there we went to Ollantytambo to see some more Inca ruins, they are all very impressive, though no-one is ever too sure as to what they really were as the spanish destroyed everything so most of it is educated guess work. Our last stop of the day was Chinchoro another small town with you guessed it, more inca ruins!! Definately think we are all ruined out now.

Off on a mamoth bus ride tonight to Chile to get to the beach resort it is going to take about 40 hours and we both feel like crap, going to be fun!!
