This morning we had a guided tour and demo on florentine leather - as this is what the city is so famous for.. However we just spent most of the rest of the day exploring the beautiful town, and taking photos before heading off to a beautiful 3 course Tuscan dinner on a hill overlooking Florence ! It was gorgeous! We had a lot of time to spend as we please today.

Crazy story! The way to the restaurant isn't specifically designed for bus drivers and is steep, very windy and very narrow. On the way up we were all making "woahhhhh" noises as we'd turn cause the bus seemed only inches from the rock and trees in front!! Then on the way down we were told to but ole our seatbelts - but no one was really expecting anything to happen! As we turned the whole back side of the bus scrapped against something and we skidded a little off path and sat there for about 2 minutes and I was crapping myself hahahaha - the bus felt so wonky. My poor friends next to me Samir and Umi were like "are you okay!??" Hahaha because I tend to freak out. I felt sorry for our driver, Pino, because he didn't get out and look or anything but just had to keep going. When we got out, half of the back bumper had fully fallen off and the side of the bus was dinted! I straight away text mum telling he "OMG WE ALMOST CRASHED IN THE BUS!!"

One of those memorable rides I must say!

Tomorrow is the day I am the most excited for!! Pisa in the morning, cinque terre in the night and then NEW YEARS CELEBRATION! Crap this is gonna be awesome! Stay tuned!!!
