We have spent 3 very relaxed days in Brisbane- its a nice city, but not a lot going on here! We have spent a couple of days at the Street beach which is a man made lagoon in South Bank, it was a way to spnd the day at least and catch some sunshine, but not quite up to the standard of beach we have become accustomed to! Last night we headed to Fortitude Valley to meet up with a friend from Argentina which was great. The Valley has a totally different feel to the rest of city, lots of alternative style people and loads of live music venues. After a nice meal we headed to a few bars and ended up listening to this great band- athough the singer would randomly collapse into floods of tears mid song and then sob down the mic for a bit, before carrying on as normal- apart from that it was really cool! Heading to Noosa tomorro to stay with Claire's relatives which will make a pleasant change for a dorm room! tasha xxxx
