Aussie, tribal tats, quirky places to drink and eat, beach bars, surf, sea and sun.
The first day here we spent the day at 'The Lawn' at Batu Bolong beach. A day bed, an infinity pool, great food and drinks looking out to the beach... we couldn't have ask for any more. The sunset was unforgettable. We spent it in an infinity pool looking out to the sea. As the sun set, fairy light shone above us and the sky went pink. It was beautiful.
The second day, I went to try a fitness class out at 'The Canggu Studio'. It was a Brazilian body class, using weights and aids whilst doing ALOT of squats... so if my body isn't looking like a Brazilian lady then I better ask for my money back! It was a great little studio. In the evening we went back to a restaurant we visited on our first night here, a local cuisine called 'Dandelion'. They were super friendly, knew us by name and Tom finally found a Chelsea supporter to give his old Chelsea shirt to.
The third day in Canggu I woke up and started the day with a morning Hatha yoga class at 'The Practice'. After feeling fully relaxed we spent a few hours on Eco beach before heading to another beach club called 'La Brisa'. A more rustic feel, but on a larger scale than our previous beach club. We sat on bean bags at the front, on the sand, a watched another beautiful sunset. This was made even better with amazing sushi... and obviously the company!
The last day was spent visiting the 'Samadi Market', selling local produce, eating and packing for our next adventure.
For two people who love to be active we certainly made the most of the relaxing.
