Day 11
We are staying here in this place for another night, so there was no pack up this morning which was nice.
Woke up this morning after been eaten alive by mozzies or sand flies or something. So have spent the whole day with the most terrible itchy bites all up my legs and arms- think I'm slowly going insane with itch.
Waited and hoped that the water situation would be fixed sometime this morning so I could have a shower - think it came back about 10am. Mum had a shower straight after and washed her hair - her hair ended up orange as the water was coming out a bit rusty from been stirred up.
Went down to the beach this morning, it is so beautiful. There was a little tidal pond where the girls could swim that wasn't actually the ocean. Apparently some fishermen have seen a 3 metre hammerhead shark off the shore a few days ago too. The girls loved it, they found heaps of seashells and oyster shells.
At the camping ground there is another family with three daughters so the girls had a great afternoon playing around with them.
Dad and Mark went down the beach to try their luck at catching fish for dinner, but no luck today.
I got in and had a early shower after the girls today, it was so nice I washed my hair too. Unfortunately the same thing happened tonight and after sundown the water is gone, so poor Andy and Mark and Lee-Anne missed out again.
Thankfully we are leaving here tomorrow. It's such a beautiful place and definately worth the look, but not liking the facilities or lack there of.
Onto Mt Barnett Roadhouse tomorrow so hopefully there will be better.
