Tomorrow...
So as you know I am really bad at updating my blog no matter how many times I say to myself I will do it tomorrow. Many tomorrows have passed and finally THE tomorrow has arrived which is now today. So the New Year has arrived and it is now 2010, actually almost the end of the first month already! Sometimes I wish I could just go see the little guy that controls the time and tell him to slow it down a little as it is going way too fast. Who can tell me where I can find this little man??? =p
Anyways so my New Year celebrations was lovely, no hardcore partying but instead just catching up with friends and playing Trouble while drinking champagne and listening to music. New Years day was spent at the Perth Cup… my first one and it was quite nice. It was hot but not too hot, it was quite nice in the shade. And we were expecting to see a lot of drunken people and people making a fool out of themselves passing out on the grounds or being carried by their friends but…. Perth were actually well behaved. Impressive! But we did see a lot of bad dressers and also funny ones. FAIL!
What else? Back to work in the new office. It got renovated over the break and looks pretty good but not 100% complete as yet. Still busy with applications and enrolments and student enquiries, etc, etc! The usual stuff really.
Oh I just came back from Brisbane last weekend. Was only there for the weekend for the Gymnastics Queensland Annual Congress. I was there to present about Ollerup! It went really well, I could talk about the school forever! But I did have some help from a former student from Ollerup 09, Stefan. It was really great to meet him and present the school and Danish Gymnastics with him. It was great to hear the Danish accent again and we just both kept talking about Ollerup and wishing that we could be back there right now. Ahh wells.
I'm watching Aussie Peter Luczak getting his ass kicked by Nadal, but the first set was a really exciting match. It was really close but Nadal won 7-6. Now young Peter seems to be struggling but what a draw though. Your first round against Nadal… lucky isn't he? Good thing they're not playing in Perth in this 42 degree heat. They would be melting!
Oh yea I met up with Michael Kristensen and his friend Lars who was here in WA working and now they are holidaying so caught up with them for dinner and also showed them the Gymnastics State Centre where we played around on the equipment and jumped a bit on the artistic floor which is super hard compared to the fibre track! But it was good fun to do some gymnastics with them and just to see Ollerup students here in Perth!
Anyways I'm sure I had a lot more to write but I can't seem to think so it's going to have to do for now. So until the next 'tomorrow' ciao for now!

Gen Tam - if you find the little man who controls time, please pass his contact information on. I can't figure out how it is already almost the end of January... Can't wait to catch up soon!
