Had an easy day today. It was so so hot! The roads were still closed because of the car racing. In fact as soon as I stepped out of the hotel a car went racing right past me! Now in Sucre, the capital of Bolivia. What a morning it was!! Picked up by a coach at 5am. Drove on for just under 3 hours I think. I slept most of the way! Then we were at a standstill. The main road to Sucre was closed because of a car race! So we had to get all our bags and walk for about an hour. There was one really exclusive plot for a few miners who obviously had really rich families. Many of them had only died recently, from 30 years ago up until now. In Potosi! Woke up feeling so rubbish! Just as I finished off my packing and was ready to go, we were then told that the pick up was delayed to 12pm instead of 9am as the road wasn't blocked anymore, yay! Ahhh it's so nice to be back to 'normality' - proper showers, toilets and beds! Wasn't cold last night thanks to all the layers I wore! 6 layers on top and 3 on the bottom.
