Had a great day at the Argentinean side of the Iguassu Falls.
Got up to a very cloudy day outside. At least it wasn't pouring with rain unlike yesterday!
Crossed the Brazilian border into Argentina. Stopped just before the Argentinean border where the river met exactly halfway between Brazil and Argentina so we took photos! Any excuse for a photo opportunity :p
It took a while to get through the border into Argentina, but finally got through.
Got into the Iguazu National Park and got the train to the top of the falls. Amazing views! No photo can ever do it justice! Well, not any of my photos that is, my photography skills aren't up to scratch :p Got quite a few photos of myself thanks to our personal photographer, Rodrigo. He was so patient and kept offering to take photos of us all wherever we went. I would have gotten sick of it lol!
Walked around Iguassu Falls. It rained a bit but not as bad as yesterday luckily.
Had some lunch before getting a jeep through the jungle and then getting a boat ride. It was amazing to be so close to the falls. Rode through the falls and got absolutely soaked! It was great fun though! The water was so warm but the wind made us freeze! So glad I brought a change of clothes as I felt so much warmer afterwards.
Went out for dinner and it was happy hour so got a bargain!
Will visit the Brazilian side of the falls tomorrow morning. Won't take as long as today as it gives us the grand overview of the falls while the Argentinean side gave us a closer look.
Got a very long journey tomorrow afternoon till Wednesday lunchtime. About 20 hours of travelling altogether! Lovely(!) Off to stay in a ranch in Mercedes, Uruguay for 2 nights. So should be fun living the farm lifestyle!
