In Foz do Iguacu!
Woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep, was so annoying as I would have loved an extra hour's sleep. Oh well!
Left at 5am for São Paulo airport which took just under 6 hours. The bus wasn't very comfortable but I managed to get a bit of sleep which shows how tired I was!
Got to the airport with plenty of time to spare.
There was really bad turbulence on the plane for a long period of time so a lot of people started to get frightened but it was all okay in the end. I don't know hoe I manage to stay calm, I think it's because plane accidents are so rare so I have all my trust in the pilot!
It was absolutely pouring down! So soon as we got off the plane we were handed out umbrellas as that's how bad it was and still managed to get wet. I was wearing shorts which was a bad idea so I was freezing! Looks like no more shorts until Thailand :(
We were planning on visiting the Brazilian side of the falls this afternoon but since it was absolutely pouring down we decided not to bother and will either see it tomorrow afternoon or Tuesday morning instead.
Went to the supermarket in the pouring rain, didn't really want to go out but I needed water and something for breakfast for the next few mornings so I had to force myself to go out lol!
Went out for dinner at this all you can eat place. There was a buffet where you help yourself then waiters come over to your table with different kinds of meats for us to try. There was chicken heart, but I wasn't going to try it as it seemed disgusting to me but Rodrigo managed to persuade me to try it and it was actually really nice so I was surprised! Wouldn't say no to having it again for sure!
The pudding was so nice too, of course I had some kind of chocolate pudding :p and some ice cream too. It was all only £8. Bargain! And I was so full at the end so it was definitely very worth it!
So tired, cannot wait to get into bed! It's freezing here though, especially in the room, have had to wear longer pj bottoms to keep me warm.
Will visit the Argentinian side of the falls tomorrow.

Mum My heart leapt when you said you jumped from a cliff into the sea! Hope it wasn't too high up! It was raining all day here today if that's any consolation and had to put the heating on for a wee while! Enjoy seeing the falls. Some people say they're better than Niagara Falls. Wonder if they are similar to Victoria falls? Xoxo
