In another island, Ilha Grande! It's gorgeous here!

Walked on the beach in Rio this morning for a bit before getting the bus to take us to the boat to Ilha Grande.

The bus was supposed to come and pick me up between 10.30-11am but because the traffic was so bad it didn't arrive until after 11.30am. Then we went to pick up a girl and couldn't find her so we wasted about 30 minutes while the driver was looking for her and finally found her! It took about 2 hours to get to the boat. It took an hour on the boat to get to the island. It was so nice being on a boat once again, I can't remember the last time I went on one, probably Australia 2 years ago!
The CEO was meeting me so I was worried that I may miss him as I was late cos of all that happened lol!
Got off the boat... Turns out I got off one stop too early!! So not a good start at all! Went to a hostel and asked and a man was lovely enough to help me find the main pier where people usually meet. Then Rodrigo, the CEO of the trip was walking towards us! Phew! He'll be with me for my last month in South America, up to La Paz. Checked out the area of the island in staying in, Abraao, which isn't that big.

Chilled for a bit before meeting the others for dinner. Sharing with an Irish girl. There are 15 of us, only 3 boys, the rest girls! They all seem nice. So many names to remember, will have to keep asking! Difficult to get names too cos of all the different accents! They were all tired because most of them hiked up to the other side of the island.

Will check out the beaches in the island tomorrow and just chill and swim. Can't wait to have one relaxing day for once! :D
