Belgium - Brussels and Brugge, 21st to 24th October Sophie and I caught a cheap flight over to Brussels, late on the Friday afternoon, arriving in darkness and finding out way to the 'Sleepwell' Hostel. Paris - 8th to 10th October We took the Eurostar across England, under the English Channel and across France directly into the heart of Paris, late on Friday afternoon. Saturday 18th September This weekend was Open House London, where 500 of London's buildings are opened to the public. Such buildings as the King's Library at the British Museum, Bank of England, 30 St Mary Axe (also known as The Gherkin), Westminster Hall & Portcullis, Buddist Centres, Hindu Temple's, etc. Absolutely huge number of a huge variety of buildings. 3rd to 6th September - Edinburgh What better way to end my 7 weeks of travelling than Edinburgh? And to top it off I was there for the end of the International Festival. Friday night included a walk into town, then fish and chips while standing in line to get last minute tickets to Nikolais Dance Theatre. The dance theatre was very unusual indeed.
