New Years Day A good sleep-in was enjoyed by many today, but I think out to breakfast by 10am is very good. Hogmanay and Edinburgh Six in the morning was a very early start having not long arrived. But this is all part of the amazing experiences of travel. Arrived!! Well after a very long journey from Melbourne to London I am tired and ready for bed. The flight left Melbourne without any hassels and I was seated in row 71 on the lovely Boeing 747. The rows only go to 73, so I was right at the back. However I had an aisle seat with only one seat between myself and the window. Six days to go!!! With just six days to go, I have booked my place on a tour in Norway for a Northern Lights Cruise and Ice Hotel Tour. It will be a brilliant experience! But before I get there I fly into Heathrow, and fingers crossed they get the backlog of flights sorted by the time I am arriving. Next to pay for is my Aurora Borealis photography tour. Here's hoping I get the payment details before I fly out.

A momentous occasion of moving house, starting my new teaching position and working night shift at the Australian Open, proved to be an gigantic week for me. No travel as yet, just wanted to keep my website functioning. I will put up photos of my housewarming when I can.
