Rainbow Beach greeted us with a rainbow! We arrived at Rainbow Beach, a tiny little town with really friendly people and a stunning beach, to be greeted by sunshine and showers (weatherman\'s favourite prediction came true!), creating an appropriate rainbow! The beach is called Rainbow Beach because of the different colour sand dunes, which line the beach. We walked several miles along the beach and played in the sandunes there, did lots of yoga as the bech was pretty much deserted. Also enjoyed the last of the ocean, before nasty stinger season further up north keeps us out - so body boarding was a must! Really, really liked Rainbow - was nice to be away from the tourists for a while! Also here was where I met the famous Fraser Crew, with whom I ventured to Fraser Island....... next postcard! x
