The last week in Hobart has been a bit on the quiet side. Monday was spend writing a paper, but Tuesday was great. We went for a small hike up Mount Nelson. It was pretty much in the middle of a residential area, so it wasn't as pretty as other trails we have hiked, but it was a lot of fun. Tuesday night was a celebration to me and my 21st birthday. Yay. The past few days have been a lot of fun -- but what part of Australia hasn't been? We went on an underground tour of the waterways on Tuesday. We got to dress up for the tour in special helmets, and got these huge flashlights. We walked from the information center in town to get to the waterways, and I'm sure everybody thought we were crazy. I just spent the past few days learning about Tasmania's greatest dining. First stop, Cascade Brewery. We went on a tour of the factory, which was a lot of fun. They had us wear these awesome bright green vests and huge goggles. At any given point, I had no idea at all what the tour guide was talking about. But she kept giving us different things to smell which was fun. Except for that most every stunk. After the tour, we were allowed to try out 3 beers. ...

First of all, you should know that I spent an hour this morning trying to upload my pictures and a video onto the blog. I know its been a while since I've updated, but you should all know that I haven't really done much since I've been in Hobart. Thursday we took a field trip to the port, and had a tour of the area. After, we went to the Tasmania Museum. Friday and Saturday the entire city was basiclly shut down for Easter, so we all spent the days just getting excited for our camping trip.
