We woke at 5.30 had some breakfast and said goodbye to uncle Ivor and Auntie Jan ( :( ) and departed for out 8 hour drive to Melbourne. The speed limit was 110kmph which felt much more natural than 100 in NZ. We took turns driving and breaking regularly with a McDs ( :( ) for lunch.
