We arrived at the Rautenbach's at 9.30. Craig was working and at a meeting do the rest of us went to a shop called The Lemon Tree which was just lovely. It was a home store that had lovely 'aged' items. There was a room at the back which was full of sale items and we all went a bit crazy! I ended up buying a lovely plate and a different tea cup and saucer for R7.50!!!! I got a glass bottle to put bubble bath in at home and a little teddy bear for hope. We bought Bron two butterfly frames and I got her friend Linda a heart for her garden wall - all came to less than £15!! I'm secretly hoping one day Garth will buy me one of those beautiful lamps, ginger jars or umbrella stands and shop them over for my birthday! Everall and Garth were a bit board and Everall caught a 2cm long gekko to show me!!!
Bron and I watched TV and chatted whilst the others stocked up on petrol and groceries. As soon as Garth got back things became emotional as it was time to say goodbye. Craig got back just in time to say goodbye.
We ate a sandwich at theirs to recover from the fair-wells before heading to Andrew and Cora's flat for coffee which was lovely! We took a walk along the sea front and had an ice cream half way! We dropped them home at 5pm and I took an hours test before showering.
We picked up Craig and Robyn at 7pm and headed to a restaurant for a 2 for 1 burger night (the moon was full, orange and HUGE!) but there were LOADS of us. There was us 4, Andrew and Cora, then a couple called Cindy-Lee and Craig and another couple called Simon and Kim with their little boy Timmy! What a crowd! We enjoyed a lovely dinner where I got chance to hear from Robyn how Craig proposed!
We went to Andrew and Cora's for after coffee and milk cake where I had a good giggle with Robyn and Craig before staying a bit later with just Andrew and Cora! We got home at midnight! Feeling very exhausted!
