I think I slept rather late and Garth got up before me. When I eventually go up, Bronwyn had made us a slap up huge feast of an English Breakfast which was a real treat! (although she told us not to expect that every morning!) I met Aunty Marian (Everall's Sister) who spent a long time tell me about herself - it was lovely to get to know her thought. She is the first relative I have met on the Taljaard side of the family.

Everall insisted on running a bath for me so he started the gas to heat the water, however, after an hour the water still wasn't hot enough, then after 2 hours he ran the bath, but forgot to put the plug in properly and lost the water, so I ended up waiting for about 4 hours for my bath - and by the time I had it, there wasn't enough water in the bath, so my boobs weren't in the water and were really cold!!! But the thought was there! :)

I cant really remember fully what we did that day (I'm writing this in October) but I think Bronwyn showed me lots of old family photos, we drove into Hofmeyr where we popped into the local shop and we bought them a new calor gas drum. Bronwyn and I then walked up the high street past the post office to her friends house where we had tea and biscuits with her and her mother, who was shortly to move into a care home. The boys joined us shortly afterwards.

It was a relaxed day and we all ate dinner together at the dinning table. It was so cold in the evening Garth made me a hot water bottle and we sat in Everall's man cave and watched 'The Vikings' on the PC!
